Wis. Dems file recall petition for 3rd GOP senator
MADISON, Wis. -- Wisconsin Democrats plan to file recall petitions for a third Republican state senator over his vote to curtail collective bargaining for most public employees.
"Recall organizer Ann Schmidt says she'll turn in more than the 14,700 signatures needed for a recall of Senator Luther Olsen of Ripon. Democratic organizers have already filed signatures to recall GOP Sens. Randy Hopper of Fond du Lac and Dan Kapanke of La Crosse. Hopper and Kapanke are challenging those petitions."
